Clayton is a software engineer with a passion for entrepreneurship. Before coming to Lonk, he worked at a startup developing software for industrial manufacturing and design workflows. He is a long-time enthusiast and advocate of blockchain, having followed the technology since its infancy. He holds a BA in computer science and a BA in mathematics from Pitzer College where he founded the Programming Club and played for the Claremont Colleges rugby team.
Julian spent the last several years as a software engineer at a broker-dealer in Boston before coming to Lonk. In the past he worked on blockchain-related projects using Hyperledger and Ethereum for both the London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq. Julian holds a BS in computer science and a BS in finance from Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he was a rower and coxswain for the varsity crew team.
Bingchu is an accomplished physics researcher. His work at Brookhaven National Lab led to the discovery of a new elementary anti-particle, and he spent several years on projects as part of the STAR Collaboration. Bingchu was an alpha researcher at a quantitative trading fund before coming to Lonk. He is enthusiastic about cryptocurrencies and blockchain, and he holds both a BS and a PhD in physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
Xinyue spent a number of years as a core developer at Hudson River Trading where he worked on high frequency trading platforms. He became interested in blockchain technology early in 2016 and he built several applications that run on EOS. He is a formidable player of table tennis, Texas hold’em, and Street Fighter. Xinyue holds a BS and MS in computer software from Tsinghua University, and an MS in data science from Carnegie Mellon University.
Kristin was an early hire to the business operations department of Morgan Stanley’s elite proprietary trading unit which was later spun-out as quantitative hedge fund PDT Partners. While at PDT she leveraged technology to build scalable business processes and systems, and was a thought partner to senior leaders of the firm. She is an entrepreneur, an avid puzzle-solver, and she holds a BS in business administration from Stonehill College.
David is a software engineer with extensive experience in quantitative strategy and trading system development. He got his start working in electronic trading at Lehman Brothers (and, after Lehman’s acquisition, Barclays Capital) and he spent a number of years at Tower Research Capital immediately prior to joining Lonk. He has a BS in physics from Peking University, and an MS in computer science from Rutgers University.
Miles is a software engineer with six years of experience in trading system development. Previously, he worked on FPGA and C++ infrastructure and low-latency strategy implementation at Global Trading Systems. More recently, Miles successfully implemented his own market-making strategies for cryptocurrency. He holds a BA in physics from Occidental College, and an MS in electrical engineering from Columbia University.
Cameron worked as a software engineer at a startup specializing in biometric authentication prior to joining Lonk. He became passionate about blockchain and its potential uses several years ago while working on projects implementing smart contracts on Ethereum. Cameron holds a BS in computer engineering and an MS in computer science from Lehigh University where he graduated with highest honors and was a President’s Scholar.
Qian is an expert in market microstructure and quantitative trading with many years of Wall Street experience. Most recently he served as Managing Director in charge of electronic trading at multi-billion dollar quantitative hedge fund PDT Partners. Prior to PDT he developed algorithmic trading strategies at top-tier firms including GETCO and Two Sigma. Qian holds a BS in physics from the University of Science and Technology of China, and a PhD in theoretical physics from Yale University.
Co-Founder & CEO
Alan, a serial entrepreneur, focuses on overall strategy and product direction at Lonk. Previously, Alan founded and served as CEO of digital advertising marketplace AdChina, which was acquired by Alibaba where he remains a strategic advisor. He also founded real estate services online platform Wukong, NPL investment firm Lakeshore Capital, and image processing AI app Forma. Early in his career, Alan worked at eBay. He obtained an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BS in computer science from Ocean University of Qingdao.
